A young punctuation couple, Mr. Apostrophe and Mrs. Comma, wanted to have a child but could not.
They decided to adopt a little period and named him Edward.
They loved Edward very much and he grew into a fine young punctuation mark.
But Edward always knew he was different because he did not have a tail like his parents.
When he got older, he asked Momma Comma why he was so different from her and Papa Apostrophe.
They sat him down and told him it was time to know the truth.
They said, “You’re a dot, Ed.”
