A man was cleaning out his grandfather’s home after his grandfather passed away at the age of ninety.
In the pocket of one of his grandfather’s old overcoats, he found a ticket for some shoes that had been left for repair in 1955.
Curious, the man checked online and was surprised to see that the shoe shop was still in business at the same location.
He visited the shop and spoke to the owner, who explained that he was the grandson of the original owner and had worked there all his life.
The man handed him the ticket. The shop owner went into the back to check if the shoes were still there.
After a while, he returned and said, “Amazingly, I was able to find the shoes! They will be ready on Monday.”
